Our country is in grave danger.  There is a coup taking place while most of America sleeps.  We are not going to place labels like “socialism” or “communism” in this article.  Terms and labels are arguable and subjective.  Biden claims he is against any form of socialism while Ocasio-Cortez is happily and stupidly a self-proclaimed socialist.  In other words, insidious agendas are easily cloaked under more fragrant and palatable terms.

The warning signs are all around and we are quickly approaching the point of no return.  History always repeats itself and history of the rise and fall of great nations is a subject easily researched, so we will refrain from dwelling on the particulars of most of that history.  Rather, let’s fast forward to the 2017 coup of Venezuela.  Venezuela was a very prosperous country who became a socialist country; followed by an election with Dominion voting machines that inflated the votes by a cool 1 million.  Computer glitch or fraud?  Who knows?  The machines were destroyed in a warehouse fire.  Sound familiar?  Hyperinflation was followed by an economic crash resulting in food shortages and severe famine. While the government grows fat, the people are starving. 

Should the United States continue along the same wretched path as Venezuela, here is what we can expect:  Tyrannical governmental rulers that are ready and willing to strip citizens of any rights that are disruptive to their agendas and prove to be a threat to them.  We already have a fat government and hyperinflation.  Not only that, as we are hearing of the new “stimulus package” designed for you and me to feel a whole lot better about the civil liberties and freedoms being stripped from us, we can’t help but notice that our tax dollars are being used to support governments not our own, agendas of a morally-repulsive nature and to line the pockets of politicians who continue to strip us of our hard-earned wealth and our rights promised to us under the Constitution of the United States of America.  We agreed to none of this; neither did we agree to work hard and share our income to provide free education, welfare and food stamps, and free housing for those unwilling to work but feel entitled enough to expect just this. Taxation without representation!

What is the point of this article?  Simply to say, WAKE UP before it’s too late.  WAKE UP before you have nothing left with which to defend yourself with.  WAKE UP before you are unable to shop, work or travel without carrying a vaccination card.  Many people are echoing this very sentiment.  It’s time to join with other Patriots and come up with a solution.  We can look to our Forefathers and the Patriots of the American Revolution for guidance.  These godly men based their decisions on the Bible.  Actually, much information was spread from the pulpit.  We challenge all of you to read some of the wise and brave speeches made by these Patriots to bolster the courage of their fellow man.  If history is going to repeat itself, we pray it will be that we will follow in the footsteps of George Washington, Patrick Henry, Paul Revere and all the others who had a vision of a nation free of excessive taxation, a tyrannical government and the ability to freely speak their mind.  We salute those men and women, and all the fearless Patriots who have come after them to defend our freedoms right up to this very day.

THE TIME TO ACT IS NOW!

NAVIGATION is a key word Yah has dropped into my spirit recently.  Let’s be real here-the world is becoming increasingly difficult to navigate. Lies abound in every sociopolitical situation we are currently faced with.  Hopefully, the one area all the readers of this blog will agree with is that our news media is corrupted. All are driven by their agendas and put a slant on their “facts” that draws the listener or reader toward that conclusion.  Because of this, we are driven to search for our facts from either alternate news sources that, hopefully, report in a non-biased fashion or we must search out the facts ourselves.  Fortunately, much of the same information available to the news media is also available to us.  In other words, we must NAVIGATE through the turbulent oceans of lies mixed with truths to understand the facts of the ever-changing, emotionally-charged, and uneasy times we are living in.  I can literally see, in my spirit, a huge ocean with words that are both true facts and lies lying on the surface of the water.  These words are being tossed by the waves, causing them to mingle and mix.  Discerning the facts from the chaos is nearly impossible and requires a great deal of concentration and focus.  In other words, my vision is an allegory for facts and fiction being mixed together-which makes for the very best of lies!

Recently, I have noticed an increased trend for people to propagate lies on social media.  Everyone, including myself, is quite passionate about what is going on in the world.  All of us want to share any and all information with our friends and loved ones.  Social media is a great place to “meet” with our friends and share information and stories. Let’s be careful when we share information; that we are diligently researching what we post BEFORE we share.  I am strongly cautioning you against mindlessly sharing a post simply because it appealed to your emotions and supports your beliefs!  Stop and think! When you share something with a lie embedded in fact, it is EXACTLY the same as opening your mouth and telling a lie. Usually, social media lies are presented on a pretty background but the lie is there, hidden in plain sight.  The definition of a liar?  Someone who promotes information that is not true.  If you share a post with someone’s name in it that contains a lie-well then, you have taken part in assassinating someone’s character also.  As children of the Most High, both of these are unacceptable. In fact, they are sin as outlined in the 10 commandments.  HaSatan is the father of all lies. Don’t be his child! (John 8:44).

A friend of mine is currently in Facebook jail for posting the following comment Hitler coined in his book Mein Kamfp, “If you tell a big enough lie and tell it frequently enough, it will be believed.”  Why would this phrase come to the attention of the FB police?  Because that is exactly what happens, and social media is a playground for the lies of the enemy.  It is how they roll.

We can use social media, for as long as we are able, to share information with each other.  It can be a valuable resource.  Let’s do our best to share only the facts that are verifiable from a trusted source.  If I post something and you find some facts that go against what I share, please tell me! If we make it a point to do this, and continue to build facts as they are presented maybe we can all glean enough information to navigate through the lies and the hidden agendas that are bent on destroying us and the nation we live in.

I know some who are reading this post will think I have a ridiculous viewpoint on all this.  I want to end this massively-long rant by sharing something from the Word.  Take heed of this warning to all of us living in these last days:    He that overcomes shall inherit all things; and I will be his Yah, and he shall be my son.  But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and sexually immoral, and sorcerers, and idolaters and ALL LIARS shall have their part in the lake which burns with fire and brimstone…  (Rev 21:7-8)

During this Feast of Unleavened Bread, I have naturally been reflecting on the life, death and resurrection of Yeshua. Whether you believe His ministry spanned 3-1/2 years or you believe it was a year, consider a question that came to my mind: “if you knew your life was ending in a short period of time, would you want your children to learn as much as they could from you? If you had vital information that could change the lives of millions of people for the better, would you be careful to share it?” I am guessing you answered “yes” to both questions. This led me to realize I needed to spend more time reading the Words in red. Not just read the words, but to digest and commit to my heart every word Yeshua said. Darrel and I have spent some time over the last couple of days reading, looking up references, and absorbing Matthew chapter 5. Many of you know this as the Beatitudes.
What drew me to study it so carefully were Yeshua’s words in Matthew 7:24-28. “Therefore, whosoever hears these sayings of Mine and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock. And the rain descended and the floods came and the winds blew and beat upon that house and it fell not; for it was founded upon a rock; And everyone that hears these sayings of mine, and does them NOT shall be likened unto a foolish man which built his house upon the sand; And the rain descended and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house and it fell; and great was the fall of it. And it came to pass when Yeshua had ended these sayings, the people were astonished at His doctrine.”
I have heard it taught that we build our houses on the Rock and we all assume if we simply believe in the Messiah, we have built on the rock. However, Yeshua Himself said we must hear what He said and do it. To find out what was included in “these sayings” I had to back up to chapter 5. The text in chapters 5-7 contain these sayings. I want to summarize chapter 5 with the understanding I have at this moment-both so I can remember and reference, and also to share with you, my brethren.
It occurred to me that the chapter is constructed in the same way as the blessings and curses in Deuteronomy chapter 28. Also important is the fact Yeshua spoke this to His disciples after the crowds had left. This was for their ears, and for the ears of His disciples throughout the ages. Its for you and for me.
V3: When you realize that you are at the end of your rope (MSG bible) that is when Yah loves to show up. We need only acknowledge our Yah sufficiency!
V5: the correct interpretation for “meek” is “humble.” “Moses was the most humble person in all the world (Numbers 12:3) We have a negative connotation in our society for being humble. This humility was not weakness-especially considering that Moses went before Pharoah with bad news numerous times! Rather, his humility allowed Moses to be used mightily by Yah. He wrote the Torah as Yah gave him instructions for our lives today. Moses knew he was nothing without Yah-true humility. Moses never built himself up but was a good shepherd of Israel beyond his own comfort level.
V8: This verse reminded me of Psalm 24. “Who can ascend into the mountain of Yah? Or who shall stand in His holy place? He that has clean hands and a pure heart.” Do I have clean hands and a pure heart? Do you? Yeshua promises us that if we do, we shall see Yah.
V13: I understood being the salt of the earth. Question: Can salt lose its saltiness? I googled it. The answer is yes and no… There is only one way salt loses its flavor. Dilution! If you dilute it enough, the saltiness become undetectable. Apply this principle back to Yeshua’s words and realize that we can become diluted by the things of this world. V14 is a continuation of this thought. We are to be a light-shining bright and pure before the world, that men may see your good works and glorify your Father which is in heaven. What good works? The good works produced by Torah. Reading on brings us to this conclusion.
V17-20: Yeshua makes it clear His purpose is not to destroy the Torah OR THE PROPHETS. Why do people say Torah no longer applies but I have never heard anyone say the prophets are old covenant? Yeshua made sure to include both in the same sentence. In V19, He goes on to say not one Yod or tittle will change until heaven and earth pass away. He bypassed His crucifixion as being a point in time, didn’t He? Why did He use a yod and tittle? In Hebrew, these are the smallest of punctuation marks. It was comparison to let the reader understand that it isn’t just the “Big 10” of the commandments He was referring to. No, He meant down to the very last, seemingly-inconsequential of them. Until WHEN? His resurrection? NO! Until all be fulfilled at the time heaven and earth pass away. (The New Jerusalem). We aren’t there yet, are we? Therefore, all the Torah is still for today. All the prophets are still valid. V19: Yeshua goes on to let us know that our willingness to be obedient children will rank us in the coming Kingdom. Want to be least in that Kingdom? Break one of these small Torah commandments or tell someone else they don’t have to keep Torah. To be great (megas-high, mighty, strong) you need to keep the Torah and teach others to do the same.
V20: Our righteousness must exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees to enter the Kingdom to come. It was well known at the time, and Yeshua references it many times in the Gospels, that the Pharisees kept the law to the minimum of their ability. They boasted and were prideful. They were the false teachers of their day. They had no heart in what they were doing. They twisted the Torah for their own benefit. They used their positions of power to put heavy burdens of extra rules on the common folk to make themselves look better. Yeshua explains it this way in Matthew chapter 23: “For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne and lay them on men’s shoulders;” Reading on, Yeshua describes the Pharisee activity in greater detail.
V21-46: Yeshua is touching on some points in Torah here. Reading Matthew 23:2-3 is a good starting point for reading the rest of chapter 5. When He says the Pharisees sit in Moses’ seat and we should do what “he” bid, but don’t do what the Pharisees themselves do; he had a point. “Sitting in Moses’ seat” was an idiom for the reading of the Torah on Sabbath. Many people of that era had to come hear the Torah and Prophets read, because they did not have access to a scroll themselves. It was the only way they had to know what Yah’s heart was. Yeshua was telling His disciples (and us) to listen and obey the Torah as outlined by Moses, but do not add to it any heavy burden of the Pharisees’ rules.
Every point Yeshua makes from V21-46 is in Torah. Yet, He magnifies our obligation for obedience. He is telling us not to stop with the requirements of Torah but to go over and beyond those requirements! Wow! Torah is not abolished, we are being held accountable to a higher standard for obedience.
How exciting! It is the epitome of the spirit of Torah and the letter of Torah. Lofty standards and, yet, not impossible. Kingdom principles. Where do we find the grace, the stamina and the “want-to” (thank you to Gary Simons for coining this phrase) for this level of obedience? It’s a matter of circumcision. Circumcision of the heart. It’s a matter of the Kingdom of heaven being so real, this world and the things in it fade to the background. The question I found the Spirit asking me was this: “What pleasure is there on this earth worth trading for The Kingdom?” I submit the same question to you.
Let me close with this thought: Wasn’t trading the kingdom for earthly pleasure what satan tried to get Yeshua to do in Matthew 4?

TORAH and the translation of the word Torah are greatly misunderstood by Christians.  The word “Torah” appears over two hundred times in the Hebrew Scriptures.  The Greek word for Torah, “Nomos”,  is actually used in excess of two hundred times in the new writings, or New Testament.  Nomos is the word that was used by the translators of the Septuagint to translate the Hebrew word “Torah” into Greek.  The Christian translators nearly always translate both Torah and Nomos as “Law”, even though that is not the meaning for either the Hebrew or the Greek. 

Torah means teaching or instruction, NOT law.  Please make a conscious effort to erase what you have heard about “LAW” in biblical teachings.  The first five books of the Bible are referred to as “Torah” although sometimes the word is loosely applied to all Scripture.  The emphasis on the teachings from Genesis through Deuteronomy are to instruct us to live the kind of  life that the Father wants us to live.  They are His instructions that let Him know we are willing and obedient.

Paul admonished in 1 Corinthians that believers should bring their differences before the Sanhedrin instead of the judicial system of the heathens.  Each synagogue and local Sanhedrin were made up of elders who were well versed in the Torah and that was the only tool they used for resolution of wrongs and differences among the community.  In other words, “What does YHVH have to say about this?”  Then every legal decision was guided by what was found in Torah.  We have not understood that most of the instructions in Torah deal with personal relationships.  This use of Torah for legal decisions is most likely where Torah began to be referred to as LAW by those who were unaware of the fundamental differences between Torah and law.  However, understanding those differences are crucial to understanding New Testament truth.  This is a whole different context from the mind sets we have acquired from Christian teachings.

Remember, Torah means teaching or instruction, so substitute the word “Torah” for law when reading your Bible.  This will help you gain the needed perspective to walk in obedience to the Father.

HOW DID YESHUA (JESUS) FULFILL THE PASSOVER?

We know that all the feasts commanded of YHVH are dress rehearsals.  Passover was observed in remembrance of the past and in preparation of the future.  Once Yeshua came, it gave us all the more reason to celebrate but also to know God is faithful to fulfill His promises outlined in these dress rehearsals.

Many years after the Passover in Egypt, Yohannan ben Zechariah (John the Baptist) pointed to Yeshua and proclaimed, “THIS IS THE LAMB OF GOD!”

LET’S LAY THIS OUT STEP BY STEP: 

1. The sacrificial lamb was a yearling.  Yeshua’s ministry lasted for one year.
2. On the 10^thof Aviv (10^th day of first month of the years) the priest would go to Bethany to get the Passover lamb.  The lamb was lead back into the city through the streets with thousands singing the Hallel. (Psalms 133-118) They would wave palm branches as the lamb came past them.  Yeshua rode from Bethany.  On the 10^th of Aviv, Yeshua rode from Bethany through Jerusalem as the people sang, praised YHVH and waved palm branches.  He was on a donkey, which also fulfilled the prophecy of Zechariah 9:9.
3. The lamb that was to be slain by the high priest was led into the temple and put on prominent display for 4 days, as it was inspected for fault or blemish.  Likewise, Yeshua went on public display when he entered the temple.  The Leaders questioned Him with their hardest questions for 4 days.  He showed Himself to be without spot or blemish.  He fulfilled Exodus 12:5.
4. On the 14^thof Aviv, at 9:00 am, the high priest took the lamb and ascended the altar to tie the lamb in place.  At that same time on that same day, Yeshua was tied to the execution stake on Mount Moriah.  Mount Moriah, where Abraham proclaimed all those years before in Genesis 22 that YHVH HIMSELF would provide the Lamb.
5. At the time of the evening sacrifice for Passover, which is 3 pm, the high priest ascended the altar, cut the throat of the lamb with a knife and said the words, “IT IS FINISHED!”These are the exact words said by Yeshua at exactly 3 pm when He gave up His spirit and died as the perfect, blameless, sinless sacrifice for you and me.
6. The Passover lamb was then roasted before sundown.  It was roasted on an upright pomegranate stick with a cross piece to hold the lamb open.  The intestines were wrapped around the head of the lamb in a crown-like fashion.  This lamb was referred to as the “crowned sacrifice.”
7. (Matt 27:50-53)  And Yeshua cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up His spirit.  And behold, the curtain of the temple was torn in two, from top to bottom.  And the earth shook, and the rocks were split.  The tombs were opened.  And many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were coming out of the tombs. After His resurrection they went into the holy city and appeared to many.   We don’t have any other information from Scripture about this event.  But!  When Yeshua presented Himself in the heavenly tabernacle, He also presented those who came out of their graves.  It was His duty as Our HIGH PRIEST to present the First Fruits.
8. At the very moment the Temple High Priest waved the sheaf of the First Fruits before the Lord, OUR HIGH PRIEST, Yeshua, presented His sheaf of first fruits, HIS BLOOD, as the perfect blood sacrifice.  He fulfilled the Feast of First Fruits perfectly also. (1 Cor 15:20)-23)

Just another thought to consider…  When Yeshua presented those from the graves, could this explain the 24 elders Yohannan saw in the book of revelation?

Do you hunger and thirst for the truth in God’s Word?  Is it of utmost importance to you to worship Him as He instructs us? When we are ignorant of His instructions it is easy to follow the ways of Babylon. If this sounds foreign to you, we are instructed in Revelation to come out of Babylon. The traditions of men are often in opposition to God’s word. Not all traditions are improper, but celebrating the birth of our King on December 25th is!

Why? Most Christians are fully aware Yeshua  (you may know Him by His nickname Jesus) most likely was not born on December 25 but believe if that is what is in their heart,  it’s ok to pick that day. Most people don’t realize the significance of Dec 25th. Do you? In the pagan world, sun god worship rituals took place on winter solstice,  or December 25. The Babylonian sun god  Tammuz was born on that day, so it was already an active day when Yeshua was born. Babies were sacrificed in the Tammuz cave in Israel and under evergreen tree groves during winter solstice. The first born were burnt alive. The creator of the universe would never have chosen such a day for the birth of His Son. Yeshua was born in the fall and, actually, with NASA technology to  look up the sign/star of His birth we can accurately pinpoint that great day to September 26, 3 BCE. That date has more significance, but that can be for a later discussion.

The question remains, why does God hate December 25? Because he admonishes us not to learn the ways of the pagans. He calls mixing the profane with holy an abomination.  (Deuteronomy 12:29-32, 18:9 and 2 Corinthians 6:14-16) Jeremiah 10:4 mentions cutting down evergreen trees , bringing them in the house and decorating them with gold and silver balls as being an abomination. He doesn’t care one bit what your family traditions are.

Jeremiah 10:9 prophesies that in the last days we will cry out knowing we have inherited lies from our fathers. Listen! The traditions of men cannot take precedence over God’s instructions. Coming out of the Babylonian system we inherited is not easy. It is, however, necessary if your heart is really in pleasing God. Don’t continue teaching your children lies when you now have been told the truth. YOU are responsible for it. Eternity is a long time. Choose this day whom you will serve. He puts before you blessings and curses, life and death. Choose life!

Please don’t take our word. Holy Scripture is for your instruction and there is a wealth of information on the internet.  Look it up and ask Holy Spirit to guide you in all Truth.

I am on my yearly rant about the evils of halloween. I don’t post views that conflict from the majority of well-meaning folks for any reason other than concern. I am always hoping for one seed planted, one lost sheep recovered. The truth is, so much of what we do as a matter of routine traditions are steeped in evil. Many good people have evil and pagan practices deeply rooted from childhood—things presented as harmless fun but are not. No matter your intent you can’t make something good out of an evil foundation. It doesn’t matter in the spirit realm. Halloween! The more ghoulish and creatively demonic you can be the better, Right? Outdo your neighbors’ decorations! Dress your kids up to “trick or treat.”
When I have the opportunity to talk to someone on a one-to-one basis, I hear how parents don’t want to take away their kids fun. Really? Let’s put this in perspective…..
Pagan religions believed Oct 31 was a day spirits left the grave looking for a home to reside in. The superstitions for thwarting these spirits were dressing up in scary costumes and treating to avoid tricks of these spirits. Pumpkin faces were carved and lit to keep the spirits away from the doorways of homes. Bonfires were lit for human and animal sacrifices. Witches and satan worshippers use this day as their celebratory day. Can’t buy a black cat from the pound around halloween.
Deuteronomy 18:9 specifically states we are to have nothing to do with the occult. God only instructs us to stay away from things that He, in His infinite wisdom, knows is harmful to His children.
Like attracts like. In other words, you set out an invitation to the evil side of the spirit world to take up residence at your house when you put out evil replicas. You are literally calling evil in, and then wondering why your children don’t sleep well and act out, you wonder why pornography has a hold on your spouse, and why you are depressed all the time. Folks, these are not the fruits of God’s spirit but they are fruits of satan’s spirit.
Not only that, if you say you love God, why do you go around looking and acting like the enemy? Who do you really serve?

I have, since I was old enough to count and reason, wondered how Jesus could claim He would be in the grave 3 days and 3 nights and we give His crucifixion, burial and resurrection a day and a half and 2 nights, at the most? (Matthew 12:40)  Friday at 3 pm until Sunday morning does not equal 3 days and nights-yet all Christian churches celebrate this as if it were gospel.

I read a story as a child called “The Emperor’s New Clothes.”  In this story, a deceitful tailor made the emperor some pretend clothes.  He convinced the emperor he was actually wearing clothing when he had none on.  The emperor, in turn, asked everyone who worked for him how they liked his new wardrobe.  No one had the courage to suggest he might be naked, instead of finely attired.  Finally, one person had the audacity to tell him he had no clothes on.  Everyone else was very relieved to have the truth come out.  I suspect that was a difficult charade to keep up.  I find the Friday to Sunday story of our Savior’s crucifixion just as crazy.

The real truth is in the Bible.  Jesus was the Passover Lamb/Sacrifice for our sins.  Those aren’t just words.  The “Last Supper” Jesus partook of with His disciples was Passover.  The day after Passover is a high Sabbath-the Feast of Unleavened Bread.  The Jewish leaders did not want His body hanging there the next day after the crucifixion because it was a “Sabbath.”  (John 19:31) Most assume this meant a Saturday, but it was the Feast of Unleavened Bread.  There were two separate Sabbaths that week-the Feast Sabbath and the regular Sabbath on the 7^th day of the week.

The Bible is also unclear, if you really look, on when Jesus actually rose from the grave.  The tomb was empty on the first day of the week (Sunday).  No one saw him rise.  The Bible only clearly states He would be in the grave a full three days and three nights.  The Bible tells us his death occurred at 3 pm.  To achieve a full 72 hours from a 3 pm death, He most likely was crucified on Wednesday and rose on Saturday (3 pm perhaps?).

Passover is the true holiday God gave us to celebrate.  It is one of His feast days, and is rich with the foretelling promise of our Messiah.  He never took back that commandment and Easter is nowhere to be found in the Bible. *  Easter is a pagan holiday based on the spring equinox.  It doesn’t matter that the Christian churches decided to paste Jesus in there. Some churches now say “Resurrection Day” and still have an easter egg hunt.  The Bible is full of stories of people mixing God and His commandments with pagan tradition.  It doesn’t really even matter how good your intentions are, it is still mixing the Holy with the profane.  (Ez 44:23).  The Easter bunny laying eggs has no place in the Holy day commemorating the greatest Gift ever given to Humanity.

I spent many years celebrating easter and hiding easter eggs.  I am so grateful that God has shown me the Truth.  If you have doubts about what you have just read, I encourage you to start your own spiritual journey.  Don’t take a journey based on what you have been told.  Ask our Lord to open your eyes to read the truth in His word, as if you were reading it for the very first time.  You will be amazed!

Please note:  Older versions of the King James Bible mistakenly had one reference to “Easter” in Acts 12:4 that should have been translated “Passover” since it was the word “Pesach” .  It is my understanding it has been corrected
